How Post-Construction Cleaning Works
Phase 1: Rough Clean (during construction)
- Removal of construction debris and waste from work areas
- Sweeping out drywall dust and sawdust
- Removal of packaging materials from fixtures and materials
Phase 2: Final Clean (after all work is complete)
- Thorough vacuuming of all carpet areas, multiple passes on hard floors
- Removal of stickers, labels and tape residue from windows, appliances and fixtures
- Drywall dust wiped from every surface, walls, shelves, sills and baseboards
- All windows, cabinetry, bathroom and kitchen fixtures cleaned inside and out
- Light fixtures, outlet covers, door hardware and air vents detailed
Phase 3: Touch-Up / Sparkle Clean (pre-listing or pre-move-in)
- Final pass on all glass, mirrors and stainless fixtures, streak-free
- Final vacuum and mop to photo-ready condition
- Inspection and touch-up of any missed spots
